Well here I am in Norristown once more—came up this morning to attend the funeral of Mordecai Koplin. Walked with a sister of the deceased, exceedingly warm—rather a mournful walk—large procession. Dined with Miss A.V.B—n, Called on the McKays this evening.
Mordecai Koplin was likely in his mid-30s when he died. He was survived by his wife Hannah (b. ca. 1817); a son, William H. (b. ca. 1840); and a daughter, Emma M. (b. ca. 1846).
